VNISA leader participates in meetings with information security associations in ASEAN
On March 28, 2024, Vice President Huy Hung Khong represented Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) to attend an online meeting with leaders of Information Security Associations from other countries in ASEAN regions.
At the meeting, delegates discussed the proposal of the Association of Information Security Professionals of Singapore (AiSP) to establish a regional sub-committee, in which each member could appoint at least 1 representative to compile and revise the content of the Information Security Body of Knowledge (IS-BOK) in accordance with the context and situation in Southeast Asia.
The delegates also agreed to organize a Joint Award in the field of Cyber Security in Southeast Asia, in which associations could nominate a number of subjects for the Organizing Committee to consider.
The conference also planned the location and time to organize the 2024 Annual Forum of Southeast Asian Information Security Associations (SEA CC Forum), which was expected to take place from September 18th to 19th, 2024 in Brunei, in conjunction with the Cyber Security conference of the Brunei Cyber Security Association (BCSA).
