VNISA leaders attend the Early Years meeting of the Southern branch

On March 24^th, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA)’s delegation, led by Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hung, worked with the Executive Committee of the Southern branch of the Association in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the meeting, Mr. Ngo Vi Dong, Vice Chairman of VNISA and Chairman of the Southern Branch, summarized the branch’s activities in recent times and proposed a number of solutions to enhance coordination between the Association and its branches.

Members of VNISA’s Executive Committee and branches also raised a number of practical ideas for the Association’s operating program in the coming time, along with enhancing the attentions to its members nationwide.

At the end of the meeting, VNISA Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hung stated directions and solutions to strengthen the Association’s position as a professional association in the field of information security in Vietnam. The Association will build a unified information security training program for both the North and the South, which would strongly carry the “identity” of VNISA and up-to-date technologies contents. Besides, the Association will coordinate with the its branches in developing the “Information Security Bulletin” for its members.

Last but not least, VNISA and its branches would promote international cooperation and innovated information security competitions for pupils and students.

On the same day, VNISA Executive Committee’s delegation also attended the Southern branch’s 2024 Early Years Meeting and interacted with members of the Southern branch.
